The final census data for Summer 2026 is in, and the results are historic. Total student headcount reached 13,462, course registrations climbed to 29,534, and Student Credit Hours (SCHs) accelerated to a record 85,470.

Leading the charge was Charlotte Online, transforming summer from a traditional pit stop into a fast lane for degree completion.

The Big Story: A 67% Increase in Online Undergraduate Enrollment

Charlotte Online undergraduate enrollment powered ahead, with student credit hours increasing from 4,095 last summer to 6,844 this year—a remarkable 67.13% increase.
