As the Fall 2026 semester begins, UNC Charlotte’s Learning Space Technology (LST) team has completed this year’s Summer AV Refresh Project, bringing updated classroom technology to 43 registrar-controlled classrooms across campus.
The refreshed classrooms feature modern, more reliable audio-visual systems designed to support teaching and learning while reducing classroom technology issues. This year’s upgrades include classrooms in Denny, Duke Hall, Macy, Belk Gym and Bioinformatics.
Faculty teaching in some of the refreshed classrooms will notice an updated computer login process this fall. Instead of signing in with a NinerNET username, instructors may be prompted to log in using their full University email address (for example, username@charlotte.edu).
To make the transition as smooth as possible, each classroom podium includes a quick reference card with a QR code linking to step-by-step login instructions.
Faculty are encouraged to visit their assigned classrooms before classes begin to become familiar with the updated technology. Taking a few minutes to test the equipment and review the new login process can help ensure a smooth start to the semester.
The LST Classroom Support Team is available to answer questions, provide classroom walkthroughs and assist with technology needs before and throughout the semester. If you need support, please reach out.
