Rachel Powell-Rangel
In Rachel’s role as Program Director, she serves as a co-Director of the BS in Professional Studies and works closely with faculty, campus partners, and colleagues across Digital & Professional Learning to support academic programs. Rachel has been with UNC Charlotte since 2021, previously serving as an Academic Advisor II in the William States Lee College of Engineering.
Rachel is passionate about student success, relationship building, and finding ways to improve processes and pathways for students. She holds a Master of Science in Academic Advising from Kansas State University and an HR Certificate from UNC Charlotte. In recognition of her service and contributions to the university, Rachel was named the William States Lee College of Engineering’s 2025 EHRA Employee of the Year.
