Each year, the UNC Charlotte GOLD Alumni Network selects ten graduates who exemplify the University’s mission through their achievements, volunteerism and philanthropic impact. Taylor received the award in February 2026 as a proud alumna of Cato College of Education.
Taylor Faulkner
Taylor Faulkner is an accomplished professional with experience in program development, leadership, and community engagement. As a Program Director for Professional Development programs at UNC Charlotte, she designs and leads innovative learning experiences that support adult learners and working professionals.
Taylor began her career as an educator in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools before transitioning to UNC Charlotte, where she served over nine years with the university’s Camps on Campus program. Her work is grounded in expanding access to high-impact educational experiences and advancing engaging learning environments.
Taylor is a proud graduate of UNC Charlotte’s Cato College of Education and holds a certificate in Management Essentials from UNC Charlotte. Taylor earned her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State University, with a concentration in University and Community College Leadership.
